USD Support & Bug Fixes (v3.19)
Our latest release is now available. We've added USD support to improve your 3D workflows, along with a helpful set of quality-of-life fixes based directly on your feedback.
What’s New:
USD Support (Beta): This initial release covers standard USD (Universal Scene Description) scene playback and review. Advanced USD features and in-app model manipulation are not supported.
As this is a beta feature, you may encounter occasional bugs or unexpected behavior.
Improvements:
- Expanded color metadata in the Player's Item Info Panel to include Color Range, Pixel Format, and Color Tag Location, making it easier to troubleshoot visual discrepancies between file versions.
- Updated all in-app references from ShotGrid to Flow Production Tracking (FPT) to reflect the integration’s new branding.
Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where user could not use keyboard shortcuts for switching to next or previous shots
- Resolved an issue in player view where active item was automatically selected when multi-selecting items
- Addressed an issue where drawing coordinates would become misaligned when using the Flip Canvas tool on videos with non-standard resolutions
- Resolved an issue where attempting to link a comment to an existing Jira ticket inside a Quick Review would fail and display a "Review not found" error
- Resolved an issue where side-by-side videos could gradually drift out of sync during playback after looping multiple times
- Corrected a media processing bug where specific video’s audio could become offset by one frame after upload
- Addressed an issue where items synced from Flow Production Tracking could get indefinitely stuck in the encoding phase. Processing issues will now correctly update the item's status to "failed".
- Resolved an issue where select items syncing from Flow could get stuck in the encoding status. If an item fails to process, its status will now update to "failed".
- General improvements to upload stability and error handling
