Correct time offsets in Compare mode, including A/B
There should be a way to correct time offsets in compare mode when comparing clips with different in and out points. We have shots that change counts often and comparing previous versions with newer versions that have different in and out points is difficult. There is a way to unlink playback between the two, which helps. But you can't relink playback without losing the offset, and it doesn't work in A/B mode, which is what we really need.
Search across multiple projects
We work with external vendors, and need to keep their work in a separate project for IP security reasons, but that also means that we need to perform searches in each project separately to find all media related to a specific asset. It would be great if we had a way to do searches that are project agnostic, so that we could find all media related to a specific asset, in all projects that the individual has access to.
Need ability to add Audio Comments.
Life would be so much easier if there were a simple mic icon that we could hit to add a sound note instead of typing. Reviewing and critiquing work would go so much faster. There can be a time limit for each audio note. and a little speaker icon on the image to show that there is an audio note.
Make Magnifying Glass a Full Tool
Make the magnifying glass a proper tool instead of a momentary mode. This would allow more extensive and efficient close-up examination workflows. With a sticky zoom tool you could: Safely navigate zoomed images without accidentally creating sketches hover-zoom - zoom in in an area around a hovering cursor. For example you could just move the cursor along a composited edge and see a magnified area around the cursor location, emulating a real loupe or magnifying glass double-click to cycle through zoom levels or maybe zoom in by some percentage, requiring the alt-key to zoom out by some percentage on double-click drag draws rectangle, release zooms to fit that rectangle in the frame alt- drag zooms around cursor like existing z key behavior space bar allows grabber hand for panning, like the existing functionality holding a hotkey momentarily switches to the most recently used brush for sketching hotkey toggle between current zoom and pan settings and fit frame X key stores current zoom/pan and toggles to another zoom/pan, corresponding to the current X key behavior toggling between color settings Other users: Feel free to comment on whichever of these you like or don't like, or add further suggestions.
Expose bypass transcoding button in UI
You can use Shift when you drag and drop uploads to bypass transcoding if your video is suited for browser playback already. It'd be nice to be able to set this as default. https://support.syncsketch.com/encoding-settings
Changing Color Channels
Can we get a feature where we can turn on and off color channels? RGB? Would also be awesome if we could change exposure up and down.
I'm surprised that the UI color is still teal. It is extremely critical for review of images that the UI, especially the canvas behind the image, be a neutral grey. Please, please fix this, this is a major issue for us.
We use Slack in our org, and we frequently post links to new Sync Sketch reviews. It would be very handy if the link included an image preview of the review. Especially when there are multiple links in a thread, it's hard to find the relevant one
FBX Upload with frame range in negative keys causes odd behaviour
Uploading an FBX with time range starting at a negative frame causes the SyncSketch timeline to be offset, causing some very odd behaviour. (i.e. FBX with data frames -50:50, will have the anim in SyncSketch at 1:100, but the anim will have some odd behaviour) Ideally the SyncSketch timeline it would match exactly what is in the FBX, so when doing review/feedback we can call out what precise frames need attention.
