SyncSketch User Feedback

Sometimes the clip is longer than usual. And notes can make the timeline crowded. I’ve been missing for a while now a way to zoom in the timeline (like all 3d or 2d softwares have) and view the frames just overall better and easier without squinting my eyes.

An option to have all sections within a review be collapsed when the review is first opened. Sections within reviews can often include a long list of items and there may be many sections. Having to manually collapse sections every time to reduce visual clutter can be tedious.

it would be nice to retain volume control even when another user is scrubbing the timeline. If someone scrubs the timeline, it takes away my control of all the options and settings, including the ability to turn down my own volume or leave the sync. It would be great to retain that control over those two things even when someone else is scrubbing

i'm already very satisfied with my customer experience in Syncsketch but an idea that could potentially bring more to the platform just came into my mind. There's an option made to Download the video sketches from Syncsketch, it would be very interesting to expand this option to the frames only/the part that we setted in a range, so that way, only the setted part will be downloaded with sketches made inside Syncsketch included. It could be interesting especially when a big video has been added to Syncsketch and we ended up just putting notes on a limited part of that video only. We review versions of a cinematic and sometimes comments get lost between version. It would be helpful to be able to use the search bar to look for notes. The Activity section should also show that a User commented on a media.

When using Sequence Playback with different resolutions, the files get layered in an undesired way. It would be nice if we could play a sequence of files and the resolution adapts on the fly.

It would be great to be able to present a full screen window of the video whilst having another window show the controls on another monitor. We are using syncsketch to present to clients in a theatre and would like to have a clean image shown whilst still having full control to drive the session.

It would be great to have the option to sync sketches with comments. Each time you sketch a comment popup window could appear. Having orphan sketches without user or comments sometimes is misleading IMHO. Cheers, Nacho

Since the brush and tool interface was updated, the Eraser on my Wacom stylus no longer works as the Eraser tool. This used to work fine before the interface was updated, but now It's quite annoying to have to activate the eraser tool every time I need to erase, when I should be able to simply flip the pen like before. I would consider this a high priority bug fix, if at all possible. Thanks!
