Allow Custom Approval Statuses beyond Approved/Reviewed/In Progress/On Hold... just being able to pick a custom status color would be very helpful to denote specific things in our pipeline.

I love the idea of custom statuses, but also I’d like to see if we can do more customization on the email notifications, for example, I have a creative director who doesn’t need to review a piece of art at every stage but we’d like him to approve of the art at some point, what be great to set the status as “For CD Review” or however you wanted to customize it, but then you would assign that particular status to send an email to a specific person or set of people.

Just chiming in that adjusting both Status and the colors would be helpful. It seems like occasionally Syncsketch will grab a status item from our integrated Shotgrid project and there is no way to edit or customize.

Dave Vamos: Yes. ShotGrid-synced reviews use ShotGrid statuses, other reviews use the standard set of statuses. Currently the twain may not meet for a variety of technical reasons, but we definitely understand the value of using a common set of customized approval statuses and are actively working toward that goal.

And we'll look into making the colors customizable as well.

Mike Jennings: Ideally, this would be Custom text since my labels probably wouldn't be applicable to other teams. But personally, I suppose I'd want to create ones for "Do Not Delete", "Approved - Implemented", "Favorites", etc... But if changing the text for the labels is too difficult, just giving us the ability to use more colors would be helpful since I could let my team know what each color means internally.
