Hi Kirk, I was also not able to recreate the issue. A short video of the problem would be very helpful to investigate. Also, if one of the original video is longer, the reference video keeps looping unfortunately. Please select a time range in that case. We need to "stop" the reference video if it is shorter.

Please be sure to include whether the de-sync is consistent across the video timeline, or increases over time? Or simply one video or the other doesn't play back at all? Also, what platform is this on? Compare mode doesn't work well on iPads, for example.
