Quick Way to Add Timeline Markers

I'd like to be able to quickly add markers to the timeline (i.e. with a hotkey) to mark frames for our marketing team to download as stills, for example. Then I'd like to be able to email a list of frame links for those markers like you can with comments.
I'd like to be able to move quickly through the timeline and not have to enter text and clutter the Comments pane just to add a marker.
It would also be helpful if these markers had a color attribute (like in Premiere), and also duration.

Thanks for the suggestion, Adam. So you would basically like a new annotation type of "marker" that does not have text data, and is very quick to add and simple to export a list with frame links.
I envision a very compact entry in the comments pane to make it easy to navigate and add a way to change the color.
While you wait, I suggest that you use the Comments. Use the C key to enter the comment entry box, type something – anything – and hit enter. You can copy frame links from the

dropdown at the top, or from the comment itself in the Comments pane, or use the email envelope icon at the top to send a convenient list of comments with frame links. If you don't want to clutter the comments pane, I recommend using our new Copy function to add an instance of the clip to another Review that's just for your audience.

Hi Mike, appreciate the suggestions. Wanted to see if you had any updates reqarding this new feature, as it would be a welcome addition.

Dante Quintana I can't say there's been much motion in this area as we've been devoting resources toward other features that have been a long time coming and have been more widely requested.
Can you tell us how you fared with my suggestions and what pain points are remaining in your workflow? Be descriptive, it helps.

Thanks Mike for the update. The team has started to try it and it is an improvement. I'll gather some feedback and share when I have it.
