We'd like the ability for in and out points for clips from Shotgrid and have these automatically set.

Retain in/outs when switching between clips (separate ticket)
Reading that data from Shotgun and automatically set it.

Retaining In and Out points is currently going through QA. Regarding reading in and out frames from SG, can you please elaborate where this data would be coming from? As far as we know there are several places with cut information - e.g shot, version or a specific cut, no?

There are multiple places you could read edit information from. The hope would be to define which entity you would want to read from SG - for example from a shot entity - Cut In, Cut Out to define the markers.

One question -- do you ever see marking in and out points in SyncSketch and wanting those synced back to ShotGrid?

Mike Jennings: With our current workflow, that wouldn't be something we would be doing now. I could see this being a feature that others might be interested but it wouldn't be a priority for our use case.
