Select Tool for Sketches (Move/Rotate/Scale/Skew)

This seems like a complicated tool in terms of development and maybe browse performance, but it would be great if there were a select tool, just like Photoshop's wand/lasso tool, where you select a drawing and move it around the screen. Rotating, scaling and skewing would also be very handy resources.

yes that would be great, often we need to move a sketch around the page to a new position to "try it" in different locations

It would be great if you could add the capability to transform, scale and rotate sketches. I would find this very useful!

Hi Mike, we do support copying and pasting of "full" sketches using the ctrl+c and ctrl+v hotkeys. But I assume you mean copy and pasting a selection and adjusting it, no?
Mike Milo
Philip Floetotto: NO I did NOT know that! Very cool! I guess I didnt know because it's not very intuitive based on the way most drawing programs work. Usually you need to either Select All first or use a lasso or marquee tool to select an area and then you can do it so it's not something I even knew was possible! Definitely helpful but I'd still maintain you need to be able to select and move, rotate resize etc. Often I spend my time tweaking others boards and I don't always hit the exact layout or pose I need immediately and moving and resizing greatly helps that. Also if I want to reuse a pose from earlier I'd like to able to do so if needed. Very cool that at least I can copy and paste the whole panel though!
Mike Milo
Yes please! I absolutely need that as well as copy and paste.

Yes, and you're in good company asking for this! This is definitely possible but will have to wait until after our new sketch code is out - which will make things like your suggestion possible!
Stasia Fong
Bernhard Haux: +1 for this request! Our directors have asked for the ability to rotate items in syncsketch, especially when they're doing animation drawovers. It helps with the accuracy of the anim note. Since you're already working on this, I'm just curious -- what would be the timeline / eta for when your new sketch code is out?

Hi Bernhard Haux ! Just wanted to check on this. Any updates to being able to rotate in syncsketch?
